The 16th CONFERENCE OF SLOVENIAN ELECTRIC POWER ENGINEERS, hosted by CIGRE-CIRED, was held in Bled/Slovenia from 30th May to 1st Jun 2023.
The event successfully brought together industry experts, researchers, and practitioners to share knowledge and insights on key topics such as smart grids, renewable energy integration, and grid resilience. With a focus on networking and collaboration, the conference provided a valuable platform for professionals in the electricity distribution sector to exchange ideas and best practices. Participants gained valuable insights and made connections that will contribute to the advancement of the industry.
CIGRE and CIRED are leading global communities with the aim of cooperation and connecting experts in the field of global electricity. At the event, we had the opportunity to present the important findings brought by the CyberSEAS project in the field of cyber security and, above all, the continuous provision of operations in EPES.
Dr. Denis Čaleta, ICS participated as a Speaker at an important round table on the topic “Resilience of the power system”. Through the other panels, Mr. Andrej Souvent and Mr. Frank Amand from the OPERATO organization contributed to the important transfer of good practices and experiences from the aforementioned project to the professional public, which is an association within the framework of this important organization.
